Senior Piping Engineer

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to join our team based in Zoetermeer.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Piping Engineer, your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Technical management of the piping personnel under your responsibilities.
• Providing guidance to all team members with proper work distribution.
• Coordinating activities with specialists’ engineers like stress and material leads.
• Ensuring implementation of project specifications, procedures, design requirements, etc.
• Coordinating with other disciplines.
• Participating in meetings and assisting in technical matters with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• 3D Modelling in S3D / E3D, Support modeling, Piping studies of Column, exchanger, and Pump, compressor, Review of Vendor drawings, Checking of Isometrics, preparation of SPM Data sheet.
• Participation during key project reviews, plot plan reviews, Hazop, lesson learned workshops, constructability review, and Design/model review meetings.
• Organizing periodic internal 3D model reviews and assigning job responsibilities to designers during this period.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Extensive expertise in piping Design/Engineering
• At least 6+ years’ experience in Major oil/gas offshore and onshore projects in the capacity of Lead or Area Lead Engineer
• Extensive knowledge and experience in developing Plot Plans, piping layouts, pipe routing study, etc. of Oil and Gas, offshore, and onshore projects
• Experience in handling process units in a 3D environment using E3D, SP3D tools

Salary

The average salary for a Senior Engineer typically ranges between €75,000 to €100,000 depending on specialized expertise and years of experience in leadership roles.
