Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We're seeking a Senior PMO with 7+ years of experience in large-scale transformation initiatives to join our team in London, managing complex, multi-year programmes with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own / maintain the central programme plan, including milestones, dependencies, and critical path across all workstreams
  • Maintain and govern programme-wide RAID logs, ensuring risks and issues are proactively identified and managed
  • Drive consistent and high-quality status reporting, including executive-level summaries and steering materials
  • Establish and help run governance forums (Steering Committee, Programme Working Group, Workstream forums, vendor governance) including agenda, actions, and decision tracking
  • Ensure all programme decisions are clearly documented with ownership, rationale, and follow-up
  • Manage cross-workstream dependencies and surface conflicts or delivery risks early
  • Provide transparency on resource capacity, gaps, and alignment to delivery timelines
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement across business, technology, and operations groups
  • Support vendor management processes, including tracking contractual deliverables and escalations
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Programme Lead, ensuring they have clear, concise, and actionable information to drive decisions

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in PMO, programme management, or delivery roles within large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Proven experience supporting complex, multi-year programmes with distributed global stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of programme governance, planning, and control disciplines
  • Experience operating in both Agile and traditional delivery environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including exposure to senior leadership and steering committees
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex delivery information into clear executive messaging
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to challenge constructively and drive accountability across teams
  • Experience with financial services and large-scale platform transformations (LoanIQ or similar) is highly desirable
  • Advanced skills in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and programme planning tools
