About the Position

Senior PostgreSQL and Java Developer

Montrose Software is seeking a Senior PostgreSQL and Java Developer to join their team in Poland, focusing on migrating trading platforms and enhancing system capabilities.

Responsibilities

• PostgreSQL database configuration, optimization, and schema designing
• Writing well-tested Java code
• Configuring and working with database clusters and others like Docker, Kubernetes

Requirements

• Strong technical developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience
• 5+ years of experience in Database technologies, including 2+ years with PostgreSQL
• 3+ years of experience in Java 17+ with Spring, Spring-Boot, unit-tests
• 5+ years of experience with version control systems like GitHub

Nice to Have

• Experience with .NET / C#
• Experience with XML and XSLT transformations
• Experience with Java reactive programming
• Experience in the Capital Markets domain

Location

Kraków / Hybrid/ Remote from Poland

Recruitment Process

• Technical phone screening (~30 minutes)
• Technical interview (~2 hours)
• Non-technical call with hiring manager or one of the Recruitment Team (~45 min)
• Call with client for which you will be working (30 minutes-1.5 hour)

Salary

UoP | 16,000 - 24,000 PLN

B2B | 21,400 - 28,500 PLN
