About the Position

Senior Power BI Developer

As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing insightful and interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI and a proven track record in leading technical teams. You will be responsible for taking requirements directly from the business, and ensuring a holistic understanding of the entire data pipeline, from data preparation to consumption.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements from the business stakeholders and transform them into technical ones
• Prototype, design, and develop Power BI Reports
• Understand the data pipeline associated and the requested data preparation tasks
• Implement security in reports/dashboards
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance
• Build and modify tables, views, and optimize SQL queries/indexes
• Guide junior members of the team
• Ensure Agile best practices are followed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in report and dashboard development.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, visualization, and report optimization in Power BI.
• Proficiency in DAX, M, and other relevant Power BI languages.
• Experience with data preparation and transformation using Power Query.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
