Senior Power BI with Azure Data Factory

About the Position

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our data team in Turkey. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Turkish and skilled in leveraging modern BI tools and data platforms to deliver actionable insights. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing BI solutions, enabling decision-makers to access critical business data.

Responsibilities

• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI to visualize complex business metrics and trends
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions tailored to business goals
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency
• Maintain strong data governance practices while ensuring organizational security and compliance protocols
• Validate data across source systems, database layers, and Power BI reports
• Investigate discrepancies, duplicates, and missing or incorrect data
• Monitor refreshes and pipelines, investigating SQL, data, and reporting issues

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in a BI development role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for creating impactful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for business users
• Capability to monitor existing data pipelines in Azure Data Factory, investigate pipeline failures, and troubleshoot data workflow issues (ADF development or publishing pipelines is not required for this role)
• Strong skills in SQL to develop and maintain queries, views, and stored procedures, as well as investigate performance and data issues
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
• Effective communication skills in Turkish (written and spoken) to liaise with team members and stakeholders
