What We Expect From You
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM-related field, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience:
- 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Principal) of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Platform Architecture.
- Skills:
- Proven expertise with at least one leading cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or Google Cloud, as well as technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and Data Mesh concepts.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes.
- Extensive experience building scalable data pipelines and processing structured and unstructured data.
- Demonstrated ability to make architectural decisions and successfully deliver complex cloud and data transformation projects.
- Strong consulting and communication skills with confidence in interacting with customers and stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Passion for mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and taking technical leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong curiosity for emerging technologies and a continuous learning mentality.
- Language Skills:
- German: Minimum C1
- English: Minimum B2
