Responsibilities
- Research: Engage with customers, analyze data, and uncover insights to inform design and product decisions.
- Analyze: Evaluate user and other data sources to generate user journeys, define personas, and create product hypotheses.
- Design: Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, diagrams, and other artifacts to guide the development of Canary Technologies products.
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional product teams, incorporating feedback and decisions into the design.
- Iterate: Thrive in an agile, iterative environment, working towards the ideal design through incremental steps.
- Communicate: Clearly articulate opinions and communicate with the product team and the organization to build alignment and support the design journey.
- Take Initiative: Identify gaps and contribute to building design thinking and processes at a rapidly scaling product company.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a product design role developing web experiences.
- Experience in B2B (SaaS preferred).
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Invision, Miro, Mural, and similar design tools.
- Experience building and contributing to design systems/style guides.
- Experience with interaction and UI design and the development of mocks/comps.
- BA/BS or relevant work experience.
- Comprehensive product portfolio.
We Offer
- Compensation: Target cash compensation ranges from $150,000 - $225,000, including a fixed annual salary and a performance-based bonus paid quarterly. This role also includes a stock option grant, subject to board approval.
