About the Position
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, in an on-site working mode. In this role, you will lead the discovery, design, implementation, and scaling of GenAI products for Downstream Oil & Gas and refinery operations. You will collaborate closely with refinery stakeholders, engineers, IT teams, and leadership to deliver AI-powered solutions that are technically feasible, operationally reliable, and deliver measurable business impact. This role offers an opportunity to influence large-scale industrial AI adoption and contribute to digital transformation initiatives in a mission-critical domain.

Responsibilities
- Own the vision, roadmap, and strategy for GenAI products that support refinery workflows and Downstream operations
- Conduct discovery sessions, operational assessments, and user research on-site with refinery teams
- Translate refinery-specific requirements into scalable enterprise product capabilities
- Lead end-to-end GenAI solution delivery from proof-of-concept to production-grade implementation and adoption
- Define requirements for AI copilots, decision-support tools, and engineering knowledge assistants
- Establish governance and monitoring for AI systems, focusing on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with technical teams to define integration points for industrial systems (e.g., SAP, PI System, LIMS)
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and enterprise architecture standards
- Engage senior stakeholders, prepare decision papers, and manage product updates and demonstrations
- Oversee product backlogs, release plans, risk and dependency management, and acceptance criteria
Requirements
- 8–10 years of overall experience with 5–6 years in technical product management or related leadership roles
- Strong understanding of Downstream Oil & Gas processes, including refinery operations
- Hands-on experience delivering AI or GenAI products in complex enterprise settings
- Expertise in stakeholder management, roadmap planning, and business process mapping
- Familiarity with integration of enterprise data systems (e.g., SAP, PI, maintenance platforms)
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, cybersecurity, and data governance teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Fluent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Valid SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) certificate (with IT related discipline) is required for this position
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI copilots, knowledge assistants, and document-intelligence solutions
- Awareness of private cloud, hybrid, and on-premise deployment models (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes)
- Background in industrial IoT or predictive maintenance solutions
