About the Position

At Etribes, you will shape digital products for leading companies in Retail, Commerce, and Industry with a lot of creative freedom, diverse enterprise projects, and real responsibility. As part of one of the leading implementation-oriented digital consultancies, you will not only develop strategies but also bring them into practice together with our clients.

You will work as a Senior Product Manager directly in product teams, lead discovery and delivery, be responsible for roadmaps, backlogs, and accompany digital products end-to-end, from product vision through discovery and delivery to continuous development.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Product Ownership: Development of product visions and roadmaps as well as linking with business goals and OKRs. Validation of business cases, application of suitable prioritization frameworks, and continuous development until product-market fit.
• Product Discovery & Validation: Planning and conducting discovery processes, validating problem-solution fit, and using modern methods like Opportunity Solution Trees and AI-supported prototypes for rapid hypothesis validation.
• Hands-on Product Management: Implementing your strategy yourself – leading backlogs, writing user stories and epics, prioritizing requirements, steering sprints, and making trade-off decisions together with engineering and design at eye level.
• Requirements Engineering & Backlog Management: Translating complex business requirements into actionable product requirements as well as AI-enabled spec writing and continuous backlog maintenance.
• Stakeholder & Consulting Management: Designing and moderating workshops, managing stakeholders up to C-level, and consulting at the interface between business and tech.
• Agile Delivery & Governance: Responsibility for the product owner role within agile teams, release management, and expectation management between business and development.
• Data-Driven Product Development: Analyzing relevant product KPIs, deriving optimization measures, and continuously developing digital products.
• Technical Collaboration: Close coordination with engineering teams and basic understanding of technical integrations and system architectures.

Typical projects: Transformation of an online shop into a marketplace; Development of a new customer experience; Development and rollout of an AI-voice agent.

Requirements

• Core Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership with proven success in the development of digital products – not just completed projects.
  • Proven hands-on experience in product development: You have been responsible for backlogs over an extended period, led product teams through sprints, successfully launched products, and continuously developed them.
  • Experience in both product discovery and product strategy as well as in operational implementation – you combine strategic thinking with daily product work.
  • Excellent stakeholder management up to C-level, strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience in consulting, agencies, or changing customer contexts and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new industries and organizations.
  • Proficiency with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
  • Basic technical understanding to collaborate with engineering teams at eye level.
  • Not a pure PMO, strategy, or staff function, but proven responsibility for operational product development.
  • AI-Fluency: You naturally use AI tools in your product everyday life – e.g., for discovery, spec writing, prioritization, or prototyping.
  • Experience in the E-Commerce or D2C environment.
  • Knowledge in product analytics, North-Star metrics, or conversion funnel optimization & experience in the development of AI-based products (e.g., chat/voice agents, LLM features).
