Geotab is seeking a Senior Product Manager who will oversee product development from conception to launch across multiple products or segments and is responsible for discovering, developing, and cultivating new products and ongoing product enhancements that support Geotab’s business models and continued growth. Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Manager your key area of responsibility will be truly understanding the infrastructure needed to support the growth of existing and new revenue streams within Geotab, the associated market, and how customers can benefit from telematics solutions to improve their business. You will need to work closely with UX designers, developers, data scientists, technical project managers, senior leadership, and cross-departmental stakeholders. To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter and resourceful team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a well-defined sense of diplomacy, and an entrepreneurial mindset. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, experience with Agile planning methods, and the ability to leverage product KPIs and user engagement metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
Requirements
- 5 - 8 years of required experience in product management and/or customer discovery.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; specialization in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is highly valued (or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience).
- Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of user engagement metrics and product KPIs to drive data-informed decision-making and enhance product performance.
- Proficiency in Agile planning methods and practices alongside strong organizational skills to manage products through discovery to launch and continuous review.
- Strategic mindset and analytical problem-solving ability with a keen sense of priorities and the flexibility to pivot as market and technology demands evolve.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation abilities (in person and virtually), and solid diplomacy, negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
