As a Senior Product Quality Engineer - Power Electronics, you will play a vital role in troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving complex power IC and system failures. You'll collaborate with global teams, ensure product reliability, and drive quality improvements that make a difference in real-world automotive applications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a direct liaison with automotive customer quality engineers to collaborate on product quality initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal teams to address and enhance product development quality.
  • Lead 8D investigations to resolve quality issues and implement systemic corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver customer-facing 8D reports to document findings and solutions.
  • Provide support to the Sales team on customer quality-related matters.
  • Assist with customer PPAP submissions and documentation requests.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in an engineering role (Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, or Applications Engineering) focused on automotive products or processes.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Familiarity with AEC-Q100 product qualification standards.
    • Hands-on experience leading 8D investigations and creating comprehensive 8D reports.

Nice to Have

  • Failure Analysis lab experience
  • APQP, FMEA, Control Plans experience
  • IATF auditor certification or experience
  • VDA auditor certification or experience
  • Project management experience
  • Direct customer support / facing experience
