The Riksinstituut voor ziekte- en invaliditeitsverzekering (RIZIV) is at a pivotal moment in its digital transformation. As a federal institution with a broad network of stakeholders (healthcare providers, citizens, policymakers, and internal teams), RIZIV is seeking an experienced Product Manager to bridge strategic ambitions and concrete execution. A key task is to actively transfer AI knowledge to RIZIV's people and teams, enabling the organization to become more independent in applying AI within its operations. The Product Manager will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working in short, iterative cycles. As RIZIV is a federal institution, stakeholders are both Dutch and French-speaking.

Responsibilities

• Translating complex organizational issues into clear product questions and concrete roadmaps.
• Managing and prioritizing the product backlog in close collaboration with business and development teams.
• Identifying AI opportunities within the organization and translating them into achievable, impactful initiatives.
• Actively transferring AI knowledge to internal teams and stakeholders in an accessible and practical manner.
• Monitoring user needs throughout the entire product journey, based on qualitative and quantitative research.
• Managing a diverse stakeholder field with varying interests, both operationally and strategically.
• Ensuring product quality and helping validate deliverables.
• Monitoring product performance in production and initiating improvements based on data and user feedback.
