Senior Project Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in launching projects from inception to lead our Capital Markets domain projects in London.

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation activities, including planning, team setup, and defining delivery approach and governance structure.
• Build and scale project teams, supporting hiring activities in collaboration with recruitment teams and business stakeholders.
• Drive onboarding processes for new team members, ensuring effective integration into project objectives, ways of working, and company culture.
• Establish and continuously improve team processes, communication models, and Agile practices.
• Act as a key coordination point between business stakeholders, management, delivery teams, and external partners.
• Ensure proper project planning, staffing, resource allocation, and readiness for successful execution.
• Identify organizational risks and dependencies and proactively address project setup challenges.
• Foster a collaborative environment focused on transparency, ownership, and team engagement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as Project Manager/Coordinator
• Strong experience launching projects from inception and setting up delivery organizations from scratch.
• Proven experience building, scaling, and onboarding cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting hiring processes, including participation in recruitment activities, candidate evaluation, and workforce planning.
• Knowledge and practical experience with recruitment systems, hiring workflows, and talent acquisition processes.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and project delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Strong people management and team leadership experience.
• Knowledge in Capital Markets domain.
• Proven ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities.
