About the Position

Binariks is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Project Manager Insurance Domain to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct development teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Create and maintain project legal documentation (e.g., Statement of Work, Project Proposal, Change Orders, etc.).
  • Create and execute project plans and revise as appropriate. Ensure on-time project deliverables with required quality.
  • Identify resources required for successful project execution (staff, hardware, infrastructure, etc.). Drive resources fulfillment in cooperation with responsible service departments.
  • Analyze and validate estimates.
  • Create and manage project budget using defined company rates.
  • Analyze financial data and seek ways to minimize expenses and maximize revenue.
  • Build and maintain project team structure for meeting successful project objectives. Manage and assign individual tasks and responsibilities to direct reports.
  • Effectively apply defined project management methodologies and enforce project standards.
  • Manage day-to-day operational activities of a project.
  • Report project status to stakeholders (including high-level status in regards to client, people, and business development perspectives).
  • Facilitate addressing of elevated billing issues when they arise.
  • Manage client expectations related to the project. Monitor and increase client satisfaction. Facilitate client communications.
  • Effectively utilize each project team member, ensuring, when possible, that project tasks are in line with each person's career interests. Mitigate project team conflicts and communication problems.
  • Identify system and engineering process deficiencies, propose and implement solutions and process improvements. Contribute to and enforce software engineering standards.
  • Conduct effective performance evaluations for project team members according to HR frameworks. Help team members execute career and development plans. Coach project team members.
  • Participate in Project Management Office activities (trainings, consulting, programs, etc.).
  • Assist in skills development and supervision of junior staff.
  • Enhance engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting, and hiring.
  • Proactive participation in clients engagement.
  • Remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices.

Requirements

  • Insurance Domain preferable
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate or higher
  • 6+ years of industry experience
  • 4.5+ years of management experience
  • Proven experience managing projects exceeding 5,000 hours
  • Experience leading teams of 20+ members
