About the Position

sinnogy GmbH is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (m/w/d) for Climate-Neutral Heat Networks in Freiburg i. Br. with full project responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee projects from initial planning to commissioning, with budget and deadline accountability.
• Thermal Network Planning: Design and implement heat networks independently in performance phases 3 to 7 of the HOAI and LPH 8 for regional projects.
• Netzplanung: Create route plans, pipe routing, and network calculations for district heating and cooling networks, including pipe network calculations.
• Tiefbaukoordination: Coordinate subsurface construction measures in close collaboration with our specialist partners.
• Rohrstatik: Perform pipe static calculations and calculate expansion compensators and fixed points.
• Ausführungsunterlagen: Prepare complete execution documents, including specifications, quantity surveys, and tender documents.
• Projektkoordination: Coordinate and communicate with authorities, construction companies, clients, and internal project stakeholders.
• Kundenkommunikation: Align project requirements in close cooperation with our clients.
• Qualitätsentwicklung: Actively contribute to the development of our standards, planning processes, and technical guidelines.

Requirements

• Solide Ausbildung: Completed studies in supply technology, energy and building technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field, or a state-certified technician or master's degree with relevant professional experience.
• Echte Projekterfahrung: Ideally several years of experience in the planning and implementation of heat networks, district heating, or cooling networks, preferably in LPH 3 to 8 of the HOAI and in the trades of cost group 220 (public development).
• Rohre im Griff: Proficiency in pipe network calculation and network design, and confident use of common network planning software (e.g., STANET, sisKMR, or comparable).
• Erfahrung im Tiefbau: Knowledge in route planning, pipeline law, regulatory approval processes, and coordination with pipeline operators.
• Sicher mit den richtigen Tools: Routine use of tendering software like ORCA AVA, CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or comparable), and common calculation tools.
• Strukturiert, eigenverantwortlich, klar: Solution-oriented thinking, independent work, and open communication with clients and internally.
• Deutschkenntnisse auf hohem Niveau: Confident and precise communication in German in speech and writing (at least C1 level).
