Senior Pyspark Tester

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Pyspark Tester with 6+ years of experience in Automation Testing to join our leading investment bank in Chennai, India. This role is pivotal for our Trade Surveillance Project.

Responsibilities

• Interact with product management, project management, and development teams to understand project and testing objectives.
• Coordinate between onshore and offshore teams.
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to identify and resolve root causes.
• Design and create test conditions, test data, and test scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for testing/validation.

Requirements

• Total 6+ years experience in Automation Testing
• Overall 2+ years of experience in data driven testing in Pyspark
• Mandatory experience in Banking /Capital Markets Projects
• Strong knowledge on SQL
• Proficiency in creating test plans and test cases per requirements and design
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes

Nice to Have

• Surveillance domain knowledge, regulations (MAR, MIFID, CAT, Dodd Frank) and related Systems knowledge.
• Experience in any one of the following: Equities, Fix Income/Commodities, FX Options.
• Experience in Selenium, Python.
