As a technological partner, Sopra Steria works on various solutions. This means you and your team will work on different projects, which may include:

• Bringing a PoC using one or more AI models to an MVP with FastAPI and Python;
• Building an image recognition application;
• Working in a Behavior- and/or Test-driven development (BDD, TDD) Agile environment.
• Implementing data models that predict, for example, the number of travelers in public transport or the amount of wind or solar energy to be stored.
• AI Research to improve NLP models and implementing these models in applications that help in searching documents.
• Building an application that helps specialists in collecting and analyzing data on security risks (Flask) or verifying the authenticity of documents (Django).
• Considering the use of OpenShift;
• Converting the CI/CD from a Jenkins pipeline to Azure pipelines;
• Thinking about steps to run the application in a Kubernetes cluster (e.g., with Helm, Dockerfile, Podman);
• Selecting a new framework such as FastAPI;
• Making existing unit and integration tests meaningful;
• Discussing ideas in the team to make progress.

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Experience with at least 2 frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI;
• Experience with testing methodologies (unit, integration, acceptance tests) and the ability to apply them;
• Content knowledge and ability to apply cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or OpenShift;
• Experience working in an agile scrum environment;
• Experience working in accordance with DevOps principles;
• Ability to contribute in the field of software architecture and technical design;
• Enjoy working in a team environment;
• Experience in sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues;
• Bringing a positive mindset and solution-oriented attitude;
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant equivalent education;
• In possession of a Dutch passport and residing in the Netherlands;
• At least Dutch at B-2 level or it is your native language;

We Offer

• A fixed contract and a salary between € 4,200 and max. € 6,500 (based on 40 hours per week). The exact salary depends on your experience;
• Holiday allowance of 8%;
• A generous mobility budget in the form of a lease arrangement of min. € 1,022 and max. € 1,209. With the choice of an electric lease car with NS Business Card or lease bike or an alternative transport arrangement of min. € 930 and max. € 1,113. Just what suits your travel style best;
