Senior Python Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to strengthen enterprise GitHub governance, automation, and reporting across a large-scale environment. You will own GitHub Enterprise administration, build Python tooling around GitHub APIs and data platforms, and support audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Administer GitHub Enterprise by managing organizations, teams, repositories, and access controls
• Govern GitHub Copilot models and licenses, including configuration, usage reporting, and budget tracking
• Design and build Python scripts to extract, process, and manage GitHub data via APIs
• Implement Git governance standards covering branching strategies, code reviews, and CI/CD integration
• Enable reporting pipelines by integrating GitHub data with BigQuery and visualization tools
• Coordinate and provide evidence, documentation, and data required for external audits
• Participate in on-call rotation when needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of Python development experience for automation and operational scripting
• 3+ years of GitHub Enterprise administration experience across orgs, teams, repos, and access controls
• Strong leadership skills to drive Git best practices, governance, and workflow standards
• Proven project experience delivering usage reporting, license governance, and operational dashboards
• Hands-on experience with GitHub API integration and data extraction workflows
• Strong communication skills for cross-team coordination and audit support
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
