About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with Tableau to join our team in Chennai, India. You should possess strong expertise in Python development, data analytics, Tableau dashboard development, SQL, and backend integration. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to deliver scalable analytics and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

Python Development

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Python.
Build and support REST APIs and backend services.
Develop data processing, transformation, and automation solutions.
Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Tableau Development

Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
Create executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and analytical reports.
Develop Tableau data models, calculations, parameters, filters, and LOD expressions.
Optimize dashboard performance and usability.
Publish and manage content on Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud.
Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and convert them into visual insights.

Requirements

Must Have

10+ years of overall IT experience.
5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
5+ years of Tableau dashboard and reporting experience.
Strong experience in SQL and data analysis.
Experience working on enterprise-scale reporting and analytics projects.
Exposure to cloud-based analytics solutions is preferred.
