About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join a team of developers building a best-in-class analytics and reporting framework for users. The client is a US and Norwegian based global leader in Asset Management and a global investment management organization with high quality assets and strategies around the world.
Working in a hybrid system from an office located in Warsaw and Cracow, however the client is open to candidates who would like to work 100% remotely. The client offers employment based on an employment contract or B2B.
Responsibilities
- Build an analytics framework to enable flexible large-scale computing on large datasets.
- Develop a quantitative understanding of risk.
- Deliver high quality products to business partners.
- Solve complex and challenging problems by applying creative solutions using the latest technologies.
- Develop close working relationships.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in Python.
- Knowledge of at least one functional language (Erlang, Haskell, Scala, F#, Clojure, Ocaml, Clean, Lisp, Scheme, Standard ML, Nemerle, etc.).
- Knowledge in the area of financial instruments in all asset classes, including fixed income.
