About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Python Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Gdansk, Poland. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems through both manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

Software Baseline Validation
- Execute basic regression tests on the software baseline.
- Quality check of project deliverables.
- Contribute to requirement reviews with respect to testability.
- Review project input documents (project test report, process conformance).
- Provide a quality verdict of the delivered software; accept/reject deliverables.
Alpha Testing
- Execute alpha tests of new software packages.
- Report issues.
- Write test reports and submit issue tickets.
Process Improvement
- Suggest process/tooling improvements where necessary.
- Implement test automation.
- Maintain test systems and resolve issues as needed.

Requirements

Education and Experience
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Over 5 years of experience as a Software Tester in a complex software development organization.
- ISTQB certified (advanced level).
Technical Skills
- Very good knowledge and experience in Python, Selenium, and Linux.
- Experience working with Jira, BitBucket, Git, and Polarion.
- Experience with test automation, security testing, CI/CD pipelines, and integration of test processes across products.
