Senior QA Analyst

About the Position

We're seeking a Senior QA Analyst with 5+ years experience in software quality assurance to join our international commodity trading team in Belgrade, Serbia.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive test strategies for complex, business-critical systems.
• Design and maintain detailed test scenarios based on business and technical specifications.
• Perform end-to-end functional, integration, and regression testing across trading workflows - including trade capture, risk, logistics, etc.
• Validate data integrity between system components and third-party integrations.
• Manage and prioritize defect triage and resolution, ensuring effective communication between QA, development, and business teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, including documentation, metrics, and automation readiness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Proven experience testing enterprise-scale business systems (preferably in trading, energy, or financial domains).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect management, and SDLC best practices.
• Ability to interpret complex business processes and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data verification and cross-system reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, TestRail).

Nice to Have

• Background in commodity trading, risk management, or financial systems.
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes and related data flows.
• Exposure to API and integration testing using tools such as Postman.
• Awareness of or basic hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
