Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the Position

Responsibilities

• Review user stories and their test cases as part of a Frontend Team.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to align the test strategy to the business need.
• Transfer business requirements into test concept & test plans.
• Interact daily with the team to provide transparency on the test progress.
• Responsible for documentation of all test cases and their execution.
• Provide L3 support and application governance when it comes to reproduce issues in test.
• Support for the release preparation related to test.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation.
• Experience in at least one programming language and software development best practices (Java/OOP preferred).
• Experience in testing web-based frontends/applications.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium + Java preferred).
• Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and/or Agile software development methodologies.
• At least a basic understanding of retail banking and operations processes.

Nice to Have

• Google Cloud Platform Engineering / knowledge of other major Cloud providers.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose and implement scalable QA solutions.

About the Company

Our team is part of the area Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) Private Bank. Within TDI, Partnerdata is the central client reference data system in Germany. As a core banking system, many banking processes and applications are integrated and communicate via >2k interfaces. From a technical perspective, we maintain critical functionality on the mainframe, but build new solutions (REST services, Angular frontend, Big Data and GCP solutions and more). Next to the maintenance and the implementation of new CTB requirements, the content focus also lies on the regulatory and tax topics surrounding a partner/client. We are looking for a Q&A Engineer colleague to help us with day-to-day activities.
