About the Position

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7+ years of experience in QA Automation using Java or Python for a remote position in Poland.

Project Description

We are building a trading platform for an innovative international top-tier hedge fund from the ground up. The platform will include a front-office system for traders, pre-trade checks and analysis, intra-day positions management, order management and routing, risks and limits management, reports of trading activities, FIX connectivity, and market data providers connectivity (e.g., Bloomberg B-pipe).

Responsibilities

Interaction with business stakeholders and end users
Functional testing of team deliverables
Manual testing of desktop application (trading platform)
Manual testing of mobile application (web version)
Automation testing (Cucumber, Selenium, etc.) as a plus
Creation of test cases in TestRail
Be proactive in terms of process building

Requirements

Must have:

Minimum 7 years of QA Automation (Java or Python) experience
Analytical Skills
Manual Testing
Linux/Unix
API automation
Good communication skills/proactive
Trading experience
Good level of SQL and stored procedure experience
Ability to do data comparison with UAT and prod
