We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help ensure the quality of web applications through structured manual testing, requirement analysis, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong experience with Jira, test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr Scale, TestRail, and Azure DevOps, as well as hands-on API testing using Postman, SoapUI, Insomnia, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios, risks, and quality considerations
• Create, maintain, and execute meaningful test cases and testing documentation following established QA practices
• Perform manual functional testing and UAT activities across new and existing product features
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while acting as the QA owner for assigned tickets
• Define testing approaches, estimate testing efforts, and contribute to test strategy planning
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders throughout feature design and delivery to improve product quality
• Track requirement changes and ensure test coverage remains aligned with project needs
• Review QA deliverables and help maintain the quality, consistency, and structure of testing artifacts
• Communicate progress, blockers, assumptions, and risks proactively to support team goals and delivery outcomes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer in commercial software development projects
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and quality assurance best practices
• Hands-on experience with Jira and test management platforms such as Xray Test Management, Zephyr Scale, TestRail, and Azure DevOps
• Proven experience performing API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or Insomnia
• Experience validating and troubleshooting REST APIs and GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of Agile and Kanban development methodologies and working within cross-functional teams
• Strong defect reporting, documentation, and test case design skills
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively, and work independently while knowing when to seek clarification or support
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Experience reviewing QA artifacts and contributing to testing standards and process improvements
