About the Position
A profitable, revenue-generating tech startup in the field of digital marketing, that leverages Artificial Intelligence to help online advertisers maximize results from their campaigns, is looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Senior QA Engineer to lead the quality domain.
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for defining the process as well as preparing solid plans, procedures, use cases, and tests (both manual and automatic) – to be executed by the development team and yourself.
- Work closely with the development teams to maintain a high level of quality and you will be working with the product management to ensure that deliverables meet their intended goals.
- Act as the company quality domain owner – create quality processes, set quality criteria, mentor, and assist the developers in writing better test plans and change their quality mindset in general.
- Define, review, and accept test plans.
- Involved in the design phases and requirements review of features associated with the coming SW releases.
- Guide the team on testing methodologies and tools.
- Own the team's bug's backlog.
- Analyze and report test results to key stakeholders, highlighting test coverage and risks.
- Continually define and refine the QA process.
- Plan and help implementing end-to-end automatic tests.
- Implement and execute performance tests, according to technical design and non-functional requirements.
Requirements
- Vast knowledge in QA methodologies including plan, design, execution, and reporting.
- Experience in testing WEB applications. SaaS application testing.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance of web products.
- Hands-on experience in development of automation tests infrastructures and scenarios using Java/Python/JS.
- Familiarity with web technologies.
- Experience with building quality processes in an R&D environment.
- Proven background in leading quality activities from the idea phase to implementation.
- Excellent written and oral communication and human relationships skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience implementing, debugging, and executing UI automation tests in JavaScript/Puppeteer or Java/Selenium.
- Experience with public cloud services - advantage.
- Experience of working with startup environment.
- Experience with log aggregation and data analysis.
