Senior QA Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Networking/Telecom to join our team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves working closely with functional engineering teams, test teams, and customer solution engineering teams to design and develop feature functionality for data center networks, network security, and routing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with functional engineering teams, test teams, and customer solution engineering teams to design and develop feature functionality for data center networks, network security, and routing technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and test teams to ensure the implementation meets end customer requirements for interoperability, performance, scalability, and security.
• Develop detailed system test plans.
• Develop system automation based on customer topologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.E./B.Tech/MCA in CS/EE/ECE/IT
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Networking/Telecom
• Embedded/Network Management with hands-on experience in functional, system test, and automation.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience in testing Data Center Network topologies.
• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in test plan development and validating scalable data center network and network security solutions.
• Technical knowledge of Data Center Network - IP Fabric, VxLAN EVPN, Network Virtualization Framework.
• Technical knowledge of Network Security, and Routing Protocols (OSPF, ISIS BGP, Multicast).
• Hands-on experience in developing test automation suites using Python or a similar scripting language.
• Experience in planning and building large-scaled system test topologies with detailed knowledge of test automation tools and software test tools (Spirent, IXIA) and virtualization platforms such as VMware (vCenter, NSX), OpenStack, and Linux OS variants such as Ubuntu, CentOS, KVM.
• Experience in performance, scale, and convergence testing and analyzing performance-related issues and improving the performance and convergence at the system level.
• Ability to develop and publish solution validation documents and test reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization: Product Management, Technical Marketing, Field Sales, Documentation, and Development Team.
• Highly motivated and self-driven.
• Able to collaborate cross-functionally to meet challenging goals.

Nice to Have

• GO Lang programming experience.
• Understanding of virtualization & cloud technologies (Virtual Machines, Containers, Kubernetes).
