About the Position
Senior QA Engineer -.COM - Automation & Java coding
Locations: Dubai, UAE | Taipei, Taiwan | Bangkok, Thailand
Employment Type: Full-time Onsite or Remote
Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members (Developers, Product Manager, and Partners) to develop, test, and deliver high-quality software products
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prevent, collect, analyze, and track product defects
- Design, develop, and execute Automation scripts
- Hands-on Manual investigation and reproduction of functional Backend (Java) software issues
- Root cause analysis of existing test script failures
- Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
- Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior, and impact
- Documentation and design of candidate test scenarios for the above
Requirements
- At least 7-8 years of experience in software testing methodologies, both Automation (Must have) & Manual (General)
- Strong ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Strong ability to handle Backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services
- Familiar with Linux and database operation: MySQL, SQLServer, Oracle, and test environment construction by CICD, Spring Boot
- Good programming: Master in Java coding (Must have)
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills
- Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team-centric environment
