About the Position
We are hiring a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Be a proactive member of a Scrum development team (work closely with PDM, BA, Designers, Developers, and other QAs).
- Perform manual testing, run and understand auto tests.
- Plan & execute work that includes interdependent tasks for the projects (testing of requirements, specifications, and designs, test case/plan creation, bug reporting).
- Assess product usability and reliability and provide feedback and recommendations for improvements.
- Be ready to learn, develop skills and knowledge, as well as share it.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software and functional testing.
- 2+ years of experience in API testing.
- Experience with web testing.
- Understanding of client-server architecture.
- Ability to work with Charles or Fiddler.
- Ability to work with Databases (simple SELECT queries).
- Understanding of software development processes, stages, concepts, and methodologies of Quality Assurance.
- Good level of English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, attention to details.
- Willingness to ask for help from colleagues and to help others.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kibana, Grafana, Kafka, IDEA.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of JavaScript basics, CSS, XPath.
