About the Position
Senior Quality Engineer (Automation)
AudienceView is a leading event commerce platform serving over 2,100 organizations across 12 countries. The company helps live event organizations grow audiences, increase revenue, and streamline operations through an integrated ecosystem of ticketing, CRM, marketing, and commerce solutions.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, AudienceView supports performing arts organizations, sports teams, higher education institutions, festivals, and entertainment venues worldwide.
AudienceView is expanding its engineering organization to support several strategic modernization initiatives and product refactoring projects. We are looking for experienced Quality Engineers who are passionate about automation, quality advocacy, and leveraging modern testing practices, including AI-assisted testing and development tools.
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of highly scalable web applications used by thousands of organizations worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
- Build and execute automated test suites for web applications and APIs
- Partner closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
- Perform functional, non-functional, exploratory, integration, and regression testing
- Automate API testing using tools such as Postman
- Support release management and quality validation activities
- Identify defects, investigate root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues
- Promote quality best practices across the organization
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency, automation coverage, documentation, and quality processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Strong experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or similar automation tools
- Experience with JavaScript (preferred), Java, Python, or C#
- Strong API testing experience using Postman or similar tools
- Experience testing modern web applications
- Quality-first mindset
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience testing React applications
- Node.js application testing experience
- Performance testing with JMeter
- Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
- SQL/MySQL knowledge
- Ticketing, SaaS, or e-commerce platform experience
- Experience supporting modernization or platform migration initiatives
