Senior React Engineer with WebGL or WebGPU experience

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior React Engineer with WebGL or WebGPU experience to join our team. This role focuses on building high-performance, data-dense trading and analytics interfaces for a multi-tenant B2C SaaS platform. You will work on advanced charting, real-time data flows, and GPU-accelerated visualizations, owning frontend architecture and delivery for interfaces where responsiveness, reliability, and rendering performance are critical.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of high-performance frontend features for trader-facing dashboards
• Build and evolve reusable visualization components, including rendering primitives, scales, axes, overlays, indicators, and interaction layers
• Own performance engineering for critical UI paths through profiling, bottleneck analysis, CPU/GPU optimization, memory improvements, and smooth pan/zoom/scroll interactions
• Integrate real-time data delivery into the UI and ensure correctness under latency, reconnections, and high-frequency update scenarios
• Partner with backend engineers to align API contracts and data shapes for visualization needs
• Define and maintain frontend architecture standards for component design, state management, error handling, rendering strategy, and code organization
• Drive quality through automated testing, careful release practices, and production monitoring
• Collaborate with product and design teams to refine interaction models for complex workflows such as chart tooling, drawing, comparisons, filters, and layouts

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, including ownership of complex, production-grade web applications
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, including modern patterns, hooks, state management, and performance optimization
• Strong experience with Next.js or a similar modern frontend framework
• Hands-on experience building advanced charting or chart-building experiences, including custom indicators, overlays, time-series rendering, large datasets, or real-time updates
• Proven experience with WebGL, WebGPU, or similar GPU-accelerated rendering for interactive 2D/3D visualization
• Understanding of graphics-related concepts such as shaders, buffers, rendering loops, and browser-based rendering pipelines
• Strong knowledge of browser performance, including compositing, repaint/reflow, memory management, frame budgeting, and techniques for smooth interactions
• Experience integrating and optimizing real-time data flows using WebSockets or streaming APIs
• Strong testing and quality discipline, including unit, integration, or e2e testing, CI/CD familiarity, and production debugging

Nice to Have

• Experience with trading, market data interfaces, or other data-dense analytical products
• Familiarity with time-series data modeling, canvas-based rendering, or third-party charting SDKs such as TradingView
• Experience with observability tools such as Sentry, feature flags, experimentation, or analytics integration patterns
