About the Position

Senior Hardware Systems Engineer (RF)

Our partner, a research company in the UAE, is looking for a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer (RF) to join their team in Abu Dhabi.

Salary: $16,000–$22,000 USD

Responsibilities

Design and Development: Design and develop advanced communication systems.
Documentation: Write system specification documents (HLD/LLD) and break them down into sub-specifications for board designers, mechanical, electrical, and RF systems, as well as software requirements for the RT technology development team.
Project Management: Work on projects from conceptual design to mass production.
Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams such as PCB design, RF system design, software design, and mechanical design.
System Accessories: Develop/design system accessories including wiring, connectors, and related mechanical interfaces.
Vendor Management: Work with contractors and suppliers on the manufacturing of custom and off-the-shelf components.
System Integration: Perform system integration, commissioning, debugging, and testing. Verify project compliance with requirements and specifications, and create a verification report.
Documentation: Provide system documentation.
Compliance: Design that meets military standards, thermal, and environmental constraints.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: At least 7 years of experience as a systems engineer.
Design Experience: Experience in designing military standard payloads for stationary/mobile/airborne solutions.
Technical Skills: Experience in PCB design, RF circuit design, mechanical design.
Knowledge: Knowledge of digital systems, analog systems, power supply design.
RF and Architecture: Knowledge of radio frequency and transmitter/receiver architecture.
Laboratory Skills: Practical skills in laboratory debugging/measurement using oscilloscopes, VSA, VSG, VNA, etc.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Teamwork: Self-motivated and effective team player.
Independence: High level of ability to plan work and independently execute projects.
