About the Position

Senior Robotics & Software Engineer

Warsaw, Poland

Nomagic is on a mission to teach robots the real world. We’re now looking for a Senior Robotics/Software Engineer, who’s ready to deep dive into the hard problems of physical manipulation and share his software development and design experience with our amazing team.

Responsibilities

• Building modular and expandable control system for the robot actions that can be easily adapted to multiple customer use-cases
• Use data to build heuristics for handling different categories of items
• Detecting anomalies, e.g. using a combination of signals to determine if a robot picked more than one item at once or if one item is disassembling
• Building tools to quickly deploy robots at customer sites
• Interfaces and APIs for integration with warehouse management systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience in programming industrial robots (ABB is a strong plus)
• Technical leadership skills & experience
• Great problem solving and proficiency in Python
• Experience in designing systems spanning software and hardware components
• Fluent communication in English
