Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to develop a web application for one of Airbnb's competitors.

Responsibilities

• Write highly scalable, reliable, and testable code
• Participate in design and planning discussions, contribute architecture ideas
• Fix defects and add required features
• Identify areas of improvement and drive engineering best practices
• Collaborate with the team to design and deliver a high-quality product

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Ruby on Rails
• Strong understanding of data structures & algorithms
• Experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Proficiency in building REST API services
• Demonstrated experience with Git and release/branching strategies
• Experience in an Agile working environment
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
