Senior Sales and Application Engineer (Linear Technology)

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated and technically driven Senior Sales & Application Engineer (Linear Technology) to join our dynamic industrial automation team. This role serves as an expert in the field of Linear Technology products, driving business growth and supporting customer acquisition, retention, and on-site technical execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth, lead generation, and direct customer acquisition for Linear Technology products across assigned territories and key accounts.
• Handle end-to-end sales pipeline management, including opportunity creation, technical proposal preparation, commercial negotiations, and closing deals.
• Manage customer relationships with key US Semiconductor CMs and local OEMs to defend existing business volume and capture new market share.
• Provide targeted on-site application support, product sizing, and basic technical troubleshooting during critical sales phases.
• Act as a product ambassador for the Linear Technology portfolio.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, commercial quotations, and value-proposition pitches to engineering and procurement decision-makers.
• Conduct market intelligence gathering, competitor tracking, and customer forecast updates for the Linear Technology product line.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Solid background in B2B direct sales, key account management, price negotiation, and industrial account growth.
• Candidate with industry network or work experience e.g. Existing relationships or exposure to key US semiconductor contract manufacturers (CMs) and regional machinery OEMs will be added advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen backed by functional knowledge of linear technology products and customer machine applications.
• Identifies high-growth OEM segments and emerging semiconductor trends to pipeline long-term sales opportunities.
• Highly self-driven in field sales activities, managing sales visits, pipeline reporting, and customer follow-ups independently.
• Collaborates effectively with internal engineering and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
• Confidently pitches value propositions, negotiate commercial terms, and explains technical advantages to client decision-makers.
