About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager for SAP Application Management Services (AMS) to join our Consulting Managed IT & Application Services team. This role offers opportunities in various locations including Filderstadt bei Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Heilbronn, Karlsruhe, München, and Rosenheim.
Responsibilities
- Develop business potentials for SAP AMS in new and existing customers, qualify opportunities, and build a reliable pipeline for sustainable growth and recurring revenues.
- Advise CIOs and IT/SAP managers on future-proof operational, support, and sourcing models, translating their requirements into concrete business cases and tailored AMS solutions.
- Orchestrate interdisciplinary deal teams from Sales, Presales, Service Delivery, Transition, and Partners, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure and handover.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in selling complex SAP or managed services solutions, with proficiency in consultative and solution-selling approaches.
- Understanding of SAP AMS as an interplay of processes, technology, service levels, governance, and business value, with the ability to convey operational models and their value to C-level executives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, hunter mentality, strong closing skills, and a structured, team-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of the SAP ecosystem, support models, and recurring service business.
- Fluency in German and English, along with high flexibility and willingness to travel.
