About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer (m/w/d) to join our team in Berlin, Germany. On our Inventory team, you will own the Service and Sales Cloud layer that carries our transactions: Apex, LWC, Platform Events, and the two-way integration that keeps Salesforce and our core system in step.

Location: Central Berlin. Hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

Build and customize Service Cloud and Sales Cloud solutions that carry our dealer and buyer processes end to end
Own Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages across the Inventory team's scope
Design and maintain the two-way integration between Salesforce and our core platform (REST APIs, Platform Events, event-driven flows)
Decide where standard configuration is enough (Flows, metadata, permission sets) and where custom development earns its place
Design data models and API integrations that keep transaction data consistent between Salesforce and our backend systems
Take ownership of underused platform features and reduce technical debt in the existing codebase
Secure reliability and performance through monitoring, release management, and clean deployment practices
Work in agile sprints and shape the architecture decisions behind them

Requirements

4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, with Service Cloud and Sales Cloud in production
Deep command of Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
Strong relational data modeling with SOQL and SQL
Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and Salesforce integration patterns (REST APIs, Platform Events)
Clear judgement on standard platform configuration versus custom development
Comfortable in release management and scrum frameworks, and able to carry a technical argument in a business conversation
English at C1 level, written and spoken
AI-fluent working style. You use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot actively in your day-to-day

Nice to Have

Salesforce certifications, particularly Platform Developer I or II, or Service Cloud Consultant
German at B2 level
Experience mentoring other developers and reviewing their work
