About the Position
We're looking for a Senior SAP BTP Architect to join our team in Cyprus in a hybrid working mode. As a key architecture leader at EPAM, you will drive the design and governance of enterprise-grade SAP BTP solutions. This role plays a critical part in defining platform standards, ensuring security and compliance, enabling AI-driven innovation, and supporting enterprise transformation strategies. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready solutions that empower clients to achieve digital transformation objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP BTP services, architecture standards, and governance frameworks
- Develop enterprise BTP reference architecture and landscape strategies
- Define multi-subaccount and global account models aligned with operational needs
- Design solutions that support Clean Core strategies and hybrid SAP/non-SAP landscapes
- Architect event-driven and API-first integration patterns
- Lead SAP Integration Suite architecture and define API management strategy
- Establish CI/CD and DevSecOps operating models enforcing compliance and security
- Enable AI adoption, Generative AI integration, and innovation capabilities on SAP BTP
- Drive monitoring, observability, and integration governance practices
- Partner with stakeholders for strategic planning and technical roadmap execution
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture with strong expertise in SAP BTP services
- Proven knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build tools, HANA Cloud, and Event Mesh
- Strong programming experience in CAP, CDS, Node.js, Java, and ABAP Cloud
- Proficiency in Fiori, OData, and REST API development
- Experience with containerized environments (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD design and tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps)
- In-depth understanding of SAP security concepts (IAS, IPS, XSUAA, OAuth2)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise, solution, and integration architecture principles
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Experience with S/4HANA (Public and Private Cloud)
- Certifications such as SAP Enterprise Architect, SAP BTP, or Integration Suite
- TOGAF or cloud architect certifications (Azure/AWS)
