Senior SAP BTP Cloud Developer

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP BTP Cloud Developer to join our client-a forward-thinking, innovative organization. In this role, you will help design, develop, and deploy advanced, AI-powered solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will work with cutting-edge tools like SAP Joule and AI Core platforms to build intelligent applications, AI assistants, and agent-based solutions that streamline business processes across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and advanced prompt engineering techniques.
• Develop robust applications using CAP (Node.js), CDS, SAP HANA Cloud, and Cloud Foundry.
• Build, enhance, and maintain SAPUI5 and Fiori applications.
• Design and execute seamless integrations between SAP and non-SAP platforms.
• Support workflow automation leveraging SAP Build Process Automation.
• Ensure all solutions strictly meet security, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, testing, deployment, and ongoing production operations.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of overarching SAP development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP.
• Strong practical experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, CAP/CAPM (Node.js), CDS, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAPUI5 / Fiori.
• Experience working with SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, and Joule Studio.
• Proven background in integrating external AI and LLM (Large Language Model) platforms.
• Deep knowledge of REST APIs, OData services, and cloud-native development principles.
• Solid understanding of security concepts, including OAuth 2.0, IAS, XSUAA, and RBAC.
• Proficiency in Git and CI/CD processes.
• Proven track record: Delivery of at least one AI, GenAI, or Agentic AI solution into a production environment.
• Fluent English, enabling smooth communication in an international setting.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Work Zone, and SAP Event Mesh.
• Experience with SAP Cloud SDK for AI and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations.
• Active SAP BTP Certifications.
• Experience working effectively in Agile delivery environments.

We Offer

• Rate: Up to 36 EUR / hour (Net + VAT)
• Location: 100% Remote (from Poland)
