Senior SAP CAP Developer with Node.js Knowledge (relocation to Cyprus)

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP CAP Developer with strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will design, develop and implement robust software solutions leveraging SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will collaborate with global, cross-functional teams, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle within an agile, SAFe-driven environment.

This position offers a hybrid setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Cyprus, whether it's your home or our office in Nicosia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software solutions using SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) with Node.js and TypeScript
• Design and implement solutions across UI, backend, and database layers
• Collaborate on agile software development processes, including SAFe methodology
• Utilize lean development infrastructure such as Git, TeamCity, and Jenkins while adhering to Continuous Delivery practices
• Contribute to testing, deployment, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications
• Apply knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture in solutions
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless containerization
• Work with global and cross-cultural teams to deliver high-quality software
• Communicate effectively and solve problems with a structured and goal-oriented approach

Requirements

• Strong cloud-native development experience – BTP
• Strong proficiency in SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) using Node.js/Typescript
• Experience working in the full life cycle of software development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment, and knowledge of agile software development processes
• Knowledge of lean development infrastructure processes including Git, TeamCity, Jenkins, etc., and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data processing frameworks, and cloud-native architecture
• Good understanding of containerization and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to design and implement across all layers of the software (UI, Backend, Database)
• Experience in working in an agile environment according to SAFe methodology
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work in global and cross-cultural teams
• Structured and goal-oriented approach to work
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level or higher)

Nice to Have

• Java programming experience
• Experience with front-end frameworks (SAPUI5, Three.js, React.js) and front-end programming languages (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
