About the Position
We are seeking a Senior SAP CAP Node.js Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clean code, robust architecture, and successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct code reviews and develop features based on best software development practices, ensuring clean code and clean design
- Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs
- Create technical and user documentation
- Cooperate with the team, track its performance, and needs
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders on technical topics, and provide the required metrics to management
- Participate in the setup, improvement, and implementation of development processes
- Provide design and architectural decisions
Requirements
- 7+ years of proven engineering experience in SAPUI5, BTP, and HANA
- Background in CAP, Node.js, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.io) with a wide generic technological view
- Experience working as a team leader focused on cloud, SAP, and architecture, mentoring an org structure with 10+ people
- Proficiency in design principles and competency in microservice architecture
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and Node.js
- Work experience or theoretical knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java, Node.js)
- English proficiency level B2 or higher
