About the Role

At NeuroNation, science communication plays a crucial role in delivering sophisticated topics and current news to people from clinics, research experts, and those affected by cognitive impairments in everyday life. Responsibilities

  • Create relevant, easy-to-understand, and inspiring content on cognitive fitness and brain health to support people with cognitive impairments in their daily lives.
  • Manage communication with media and draft press releases for current events.
  • Conduct research in scientific databases and publications to create new content.
  • Plan and implement digital communication with medical professionals (on the website and in our newsletter tools).
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from product development, business intelligence, marketing, and customer support to improve NeuroNation MED with new ideas and concepts.
  • Work towards the common goal of helping millions of people stay or become socially fit.

Required Profile

  • Completed studies in Medicine, Neuropsychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Sciences, or Psychology.
  • Ability to write precisely, vividly, and empathetically, focusing on readability and impact.
  • Ability to critically evaluate, correctly categorize, and communicate scientific studies in a regulatory-compliant manner.
  • Strong personal interest in brain and brain health topics.
  • Experience as a user of digital health, education, or productivity apps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
  • Curious and passionate about continuous learning with digital affinity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Great interest in analyzing data to optimize communication work.
  • Well-organized with good project management and time management skills.
  • Team player who enjoys helping colleagues.
  • Question the purpose of tasks, think along, and contribute your own ideas.
  • Work full-time (40h/week) on-site in Berlin.
  • Bonus: Relevant professional experience with CRM, content management systems, and newsletter dispatch tools (ideally HubSpot).
  • Bonus: Experience with segmentation and funnels in marketing automation.
  • Bonus: Experience or interest in UX/Visual Design/Illustration.

For 15 years, we have been developing digital training programs that have been proven to strengthen cognitive performance and are readily available to people worldwide. Today, our health app NeuroNation is available in 13 different languages and used by over 30 million people. Our cognitive therapy program NeuroNation MED has been permanently approved by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices as a digital health application and supports about a quarter of all patients with mild cognitive impairment (ICD-10 F06.7) in Germany.
