About the Position
Senior Security Platform Engineer (DevOps & SIEM)
At ING Hubs Spain, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer, you will:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and develop tools.
- Implement and develop new solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Perform advanced maintenance and development of RHEL and Windows-based infrastructure.
- Design and optimize patch management processes and automation solutions.
- Create complex pipelines and integrations within Azure DevOps / Azure environment.
- Collaborate with security, networking, architecture, and DevOps teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of engineering experience in IT infrastructure roles.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux (RHEL) – automation, troubleshooting, performance tuning.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server – Active Directory, Group Policy, automation.
- Experience with automation tools and technologies (Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Bash/PowerShell scripting).
- Strong knowledge of Azure and CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps Pipelines, YAML).
- Hands-on experience with EDR solutions, preferably Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g. Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic, ArcSight, Chronicle).
- Fluent in English both spoken and written (minimum B2).
