Job description
About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Security Software Engineer to build cloud security AI accelerators, writing Python code, developing REST APIs, and implementing GenAI workflows that automate cloud infrastructure baselines, drift detection, and AI asset discovery across a large-scale financial services environment. You will build AI agents for inventory data quality validation, write Rego policies for CI/CD pipeline inspection, generate compliant Terraform modules, and integrate LLM APIs including OpenAI and Anthropic into production automation systems. The role requires 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python fundamentals and hands-on LLM API integration.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement AI agents to automate inventory data quality validation, reconciliation, and ownership attribution, reducing manual security operations efforts.
- Write and validate Rego policies and Regula test cases that inspect Terraform passing through CI/CD pipelines.
- Generate compliant Terraform modules based on AI-accelerated configuration requirements for new cloud resources, such as AWS S3.
- Develop robust REST APIs and scripts that routinely perform drift detection, deploy live test resources, and verify expected outputs from cloud service endpoints.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong Python development fundamentals, including clean, maintainable code, OOP and functional programming patterns, and testing.
- Proven REST API development experience.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs, such as OpenAI and Anthropic, into Python applications, with a baseline understanding of developer-centric AI concepts such as RAG and vector embeddings. No ML model training or data science background is required.
- Practical experience deploying applications to cloud environments, preferably AWS, and writing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision on day-to-day execution and reliably complete complex automation tasks.
Nice to Have
- Experience building high-performance endpoints using FastAPI.
- Hands-on scripting experience with LangChain or LangGraph.
- Practical experience writing Rego policies for Wiz Custom Configuration Rules or Regula.
We Offer
- Growth without limits: build your skills through mentorship, internal TechTalks, challenging projects, and a dedicated annual learning budget.
- Competitive compensation: get recognition that reflects your skills and impact, with regular performance and compensation reviews.
- Flexibility: work 100% remotely with flexible hours that support focus, autonomy, and a healthy work rhythm.
- Meaningful, modern projects: build impactful products using modern technologies alongside global teams and leading brands.
- Collaborative culture: join a supportive environment with zero micromanagement where ideas are welcomed and contributions are recognized.
- Well-being & support: access local well-being programs and people-focused support tailored to your location.
