Senior SEO Specialist

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team and drive our search engine optimization efforts. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for executing our SEO strategy, analyzing website performance, and identifying new opportunities to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. This position will require working closely with our content, web development, and marketing teams to ensure all SEO initiatives align with our overall business goals.

Responsibilities

• Execute our SEO strategy to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings, which means owning all SEO tactics such as:
  • Improving existing blogs and updating the content of traffic deteriorating blogs
  • Guiding content writers on what to write about and how to write it (content briefs) so it’s aligned with all of the SEO best practices
  • Reaching out to trade magazines and big tech publishers to generate impactful backlinks.
• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify new opportunities for content optimization
• Optimize on-page and off-page SEO factors, including meta tags, site structure, site speed, etc.
• Monitor website performance and develop actionable insights to improve search engine visibility
• Collaborate with content, web development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO initiatives are aligned with overall business goals
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices, and proactively recommend new strategies to improve website performance
• Use analytics and tracking tools to monitor and report on the performance of the SEO, and make recommendations for improvements
• Own a website migration with SEO’s best practices in mind

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in SEO or a related field
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
• Demonstrated success in improving organic traffic and search engine rankings
• Experience with keyword research and SEO analysis tools, such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and search console.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Performance-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
