Senior Social Media Executive (4 Months Freelance Maternity Cover)

VML Malaysia is seeking a Senior Social Media Executive to provide freelance support for a 4-month maternity cover period. The role involves delivering quality materials on time and budget while collaborating with team members on tactical and strategic aspects of the account.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for the day-to-day execution and financial management of assigned accounts.
• Attend and facilitate all status meetings, client meetings, and client calls.
• Participate in marketing planning and execution of operational/tactical aspects of campaigns.
• Monitor both client and agency budgets, including oversight of campaign costs.
• Act as a liaison between all departments and the client to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Perform any other reasonable duties, functions, or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of agency functions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time, and self-management skills.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent follow-through skills.
• Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of a diploma degree; Marketing, Business, or Communications degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of prior advertising agency experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of general marketing practices.
• Strong computer skills, proficient use of Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint) and Internet.
