Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and upgrade software components based on specifications
• Ensure code integrity and maintain version control and release management standards
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with company standards
• Analyze and resolve complex software issues, identifying root causes and long-term solutions
• Provide effort estimations and technical analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client technical teams to support successful project delivery
• Offer technical guidance to less experienced team members
• Contribute ideas for system improvements and process optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong experience with:
  • Java programming language
  • Communication standards/protocols (JSON, XML, SOAP)
  • Front-end technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS)
• Knowledge of:
  • Databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • Frameworks (J2EE, Hibernate, JSF)
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and experience in implementing security measures in software development
• Experience with the OWASP Top 10
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Advanced technical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Continuous learner, adaptable to fast-changing technologies and trends
• Communication and interpersonal skills; very good command of English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Apache Web Server
• Experience with Red Hat JBoss Application Server
• Knowledge of the REACT framework
• Knowledge of container platform management (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Knowledge of Cyber Security concepts and practices
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
