About the Role and Mission

You will be part of our Payments team (International payment methods), providing payment possibilities within our international account in the United States and other countries.

Responsibilities

In your daily tasks, you will:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Java applications following best development practices;
• Create and optimize clean, efficient, and well-documented code;
• Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance on existing systems;
• Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures;
• Implement integrations using REST protocols;
• Participate in the design and evolution of system architecture;
• Manage and configure AWS services (Kafka, SQS, S3, Parameter Store);
• Understand DevOps practices;
• Work with relational and non-relational databases;
• Configure and monitor telemetry metrics (New Relic, Grafana, Datadog);

Requirements

Required:

• Solid experience with backend development;
• Completed higher education in the field.

Desirable:

• Intermediate English;
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, preferably, or Azure);
• Experience with messaging (sqs, sns, kafka);
• Experience with telemetry (grafana, datadog, new relic);
