Senior Software Developer (Credit & Risk)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer (Credit & Risk) with 10+ years experience to join our team in Singapore, specializing in designing and developing high-quality software applications.

Responsibilities

• Involve early in the project to perform workshops to capture client requirements and to follow project / product roadmap.
• Author Product Design and Technical Specifications and support Business Analysts during initial analysis, solution proposal and cost estimation.
• Perform development estimations and impact analysis for functional stories as well as change requests.
• Conduct project risk identification and mitigation action planning with the project manager.
• Collaborate with Project Leads, Business Analysts and broader IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent.
• Provide technical guidance to off-shore application development team.
• Develop medium to complex applications and ensure the product matches the technical specifications.
• Perform various tests to ensure deliverable is working as expected (Unitary test, Integration test, System test).
• Provide support to clients in the user acceptance testing phase (enquiries, execute batch jobs in the simulation environment, resolve errors, etc.).
• Support and adhere to the client's Methodology and continuously contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma: Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering preferably in Computer Science/IT.
• Experience: Experience in a banking environment is imperative, ideally Private Banking or Wealth Management. 10+ years of software development experience with a proven track record working with distributed delivery teams across geographies.
• Business and Knowledge: Credit and Risk.
• Technical Knowledge: S2i Application, COBOL, DB2, GIT, GITLAB, SPLUNK, SQL, DBeaver, Eclipse.
