Senior Software Developer (Security,Network)

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer (Security, Network) to join our international team in Wrocław. This role offers a hybrid work model with one day in the office and the rest remotely.

Our client is a global leader in public transport support, implementing Intelligent Transport Systems, and their software facilitates the lives of millions of passengers in major cities like London, Singapore, Riyadh, and Cape Town.

Currently, we are seeking an ambitious, open-to-new-challenges individual for a highly developmental project.

Responsibilities

The person joining our multicultural team will be responsible for:

• Analyzing requirements and designing software at the component level, particularly in the areas of security, networks, and communication (voice and data),
• Developing software for onboard vehicle computers,
• Analyzing security requirements,
• Defining policies and procedures for the solution,
• Implementing, monitoring, and evaluating access and security protocols,
• Writing unit and integration tests to ensure software quality,
• Maintaining documentation for developers.

Requirements

• Higher technical education,
• Very good knowledge of IT security and networks,
• Practical knowledge of one of the object-oriented languages (C++/Java/Python),
• Highly developed communication skills,
• Very good knowledge of the English language in speech and writing (B2/C1),
• Practical experience in creating Linux-based software.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery processes,
• Knowledge of Yocto,
• Willingness to travel for work (1x per year),
• Knowledge of AWS cloud.
